COACHES

Coaches play a vital role in Touch Football, fostering the development of  players both on and off the field.

Coaches of any level are encouraged to get involved and we are always needing more Coaching staff to support events such as:

• Season competitions
• Representative teams
• Development clinics
• Come & Try days

We support and encourage coaches to develop and refine their coaching skills and offer access to Touch Football Australia accredited courses.

 
Touch Football Australia has a four-tier accreditation system linked to the AIS Development model FTEM. Coach Accreditation lasts for a period of four years, after which updating your accreditation is required.

  • Foundation Coach:  14+ years of age.
  • Talent Coach: 15+ years of age (minimum 6 months Foundation Accredited).
  • Elite Coach: 16+ years of age (minimum 12 months Talent Accredited).
  • Mastery Coach: TBA

Coach accreditation lasts for a period of four years, after which updating your accreditation is required.
